The Indian Sapindus Trees produce a fruit that contain saponins (natural soaps) which are released upon water contact. The dried berry shells are 100% natural & have been used for thousands of years as a soap by native Asians & Americans. They are very effective in removing dirt, oils & odours while being gentle on your fabrics & colours. As they are a fruit, they are hypoallergenic & proven by dermatologists to not cause any skin irritation. They have also been found to have mild anti-fungal & anti-microbial activity.

Yet half the time I would be itchy after the shower. It took me 15 years to realise that the personal care products & laundry protects were irritating my skin. As were the bleaches, fragrances & fabric softeners, which built up on my towels & clothing.

I looked to nature & found an incredible gift. An Indian tree who's fruit produced a berry with natural soap. Only the outer shells are used & the inner seeds are replanted so it is completely sustainable. I also loved that the berries are 100% compostable'.

We use skin identical & biomimicking ingredients that the skin can metabolise. Our products are pH balanced to support the skin's acid mantle.

We have crafted the safest, gentlest products possible. We are free from SLS, harsh detergents, fragrances, colour, alcohol, silicone, essential oils, petrochemicals, steroids, parabens, ethoxylates, formaldehyde, dairy, soy, gluten, nuts*. *No true nuts are used as this is made from a soap berry.

Our products contain less than 10 ingredients & are free from common allergens & irritants.

Character: These are all natural dried soap berry shells without added fragrances. 

Use: Soap berries can be used to wash all fabrics at temperatures from 30-90C. After washing, allow the berries to dry. They can be reused up to 4 more times & are exhausted when they stop soaping, turn soft & grey.

Dose: Place 5-7 berries or equivalent half shells in to the muslin washbag & tie securely. Wash your laundry above 50C to kill the dust mites. 

Pair with: Make your own all purpose kitchen & surface cleaner. Add 5 soap berries to a spray bottle & 500 ml of hot water. Shake & leave to soak until the water turns brown. When the jar is empty you can repeat this process.
